How to Sell a Truck Online: A Better Listing

Selling a semi, box truck or trailer online? Clear photos, complete specs and honest descriptions help buyers decide to contact you.

Photograph the vehicle

Use daylight and show all sides, the cab, engine area, tires, odometer or hour meter and known damage. Choose a clear cover image. Use photos you own and avoid hiding defects through editing. Keep registration papers, faces and private contact details out of public photos.

Describe what matters

Include year, make, model, mileage or hours, asking price, location and relevant equipment. Describe title status, maintenance record availability, recent repairs and known issues. Explain what is included and whether an independent inspection is welcome.

Save and review

Use the guided form or CSV import to create a private draft. Review the saved listing, add photos and correct mistakes before publishing. Device recovery saves text temporarily, not your photo files. Publishing requires the current storefront membership.

Keep the listing current

Respond to relevant inquiries, confirm availability and update changed details. Mark sold or unavailable vehicles promptly. Share the listing card or QR code with people who may be interested. Strong listing details can improve clarity but cannot guarantee leads or a sale.

Privacy & measurement preferences

Optional aggregate measurement helps improve signup and listing steps. It stores daily counts without names or emails. Opted-in shared-link visits store the listing ID and selected channel label. Turning it off stops future measurement.
